The Adventure of a Lifetime

There's adventures like what comes out of the laundry, there's adventures like hiking in the Rockies, and then there's adventures like the one Roger and Debera Mace are about to embark on.

Roger and I worked together for several years at a certain orange-tinted state agency, and left that employment within a month of each other, he retiring after 29+ years and me to try other paths.

Roger and Debera are pastors and founders of Mission of Hope Orphanage in Liberia. They will be returning to Liberia this fall to open a second orphanage. They have such a fascinating and miraculous story of how Debera came to be in Ghana, the development and relocation of the first orphanage, adopting a son, and now the continued growth of their mission and dream in Africa.

I invite you all to watch their story unfold at Mission of Hope and view the pictures of these precious children.  This is definitely what you call an adventure!  Good luck, Roger and Deb, Godspeed!
